Camino de Santiago on Horseback from Ferrol
Arrival day and welcome of participants at the agreed meeting point in Ferrol. Transfer to our facilities where we’ll hold an information briefing to answer all questions about the journey.
Dinner and overnight rest before starting our pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela along the English Way.
Ferrol → Betanzos
Our horseback adventure along the English Way begins at Ferrol’s shipyards and heads toward the stunning medieval town of Betanzos, with its magnificent architecture – the perfect end to the first stage and our overnight stop.
Along the way we’ll pass through Narón, Neda, Fene, Pontedeume, Miño and Paderne.
Betanzos → Ordes
After visiting the impressive churches of San Francisco and Santa María, we leave Betanzos behind, moving away from the coast and continuing our pilgrimage toward the town of Ordes.
This stage crosses the municipalities of Abegondo and Mesía.
Ordes → Santiago de Compostela
The final stage of our adventure! We leave Ordes with one goal: to reach Santiago de Compostela by the end of the day.
The route takes us through the municipality of Oroso, where we’ll stop for lunch in Sigüeiro, before arriving at the majestic Praza do Obradoiro and the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
